Dr. Angela Draughon – A Chiropractor With Decades of Expertise
With nearly 40 years in practice, Dr Angela brings significant expertise and experience to every patient interaction. She opened her Mesquite clinic in 1990, having gained valuable business and clinical experience across multiple chiropractic settings.
Her advanced training includes over 100 additional hours focused on whiplash and auto-related injury care. But her approach reaches far beyond accident recovery. Dr Angela also supports people living with scoliosis, helps pregnant women stay comfortable with specialized table adjustments, and uses a blend of techniques—including cold laser, dry needling, and traction—to help people move and feel better every day.
A self-described animal lover and long-time Rockwall resident, Dr Angela raises championship miniature livestock on her family’s acreage. She brings the same level of care and patience to her practice as she does to her farm. (Yes, even her goats and donkeys have earned national titles—she takes care seriously, no matter the species!).

LaToya – Our Practice Manager, Who’s Always Ready to Help
LaToya has been part of the practice for more than 16 years. What began as a massage therapy role evolved into a multifaceted position that now encompasses patient coordination, front desk leadership, insurance management, and therapy support.
As our practice manager, she plays a key role in keeping everything on track while making sure patients feel seen and supported.
When she’s not at the office, LaToya stays busy giving back, helping her cousin who is paralyzed, volunteering with church groups, gardening, and crafting with her family.
Alondra – Front Desk Manager
Alondra Gonzalez serves as the Administrative Office Manager at the practice, where she oversees daily operations, coordinates administrative functions, and ensures that both patients and team members experience a welcoming and efficient environment.
She began her professional journey as a Legal Assistant and Paralegal, developing a strong foundation in organization, communication, and client relations. Over time, her passion for health and wellness inspired her transition into chiropractic care—a field that allows her to combine professionalism with a genuine desire to help others heal and thrive.
What Alondra values most about her position is witnessing patients’ progress throughout their care. Seeing them improve, smile, and regain confidence in their health brings her immense joy and motivation. She also takes pride in maintaining smooth office operations that contribute to an exceptional patient experience.
Outside of work, Alondra enjoys shopping, staying active at the gym, and exploring new restaurants. She believes in living a balanced, positive lifestyle and brings that same energy into the workplace each day.
Claudia – Support Specialist
Claudia provides additional support across all practice locations, ensuring consistent quality care throughout the Elite network. Her adaptability and comprehensive training in multiple practice areas allow her to step in wherever needed, maintaining our high standards of patient service and clinical excellence.
Zaira – Chiropractic Assistant & Therapist
Zaira Barbosa brings focus, warmth, and steady energy to the care experience at our Mesquite location. As a certified Chiropractic Assistant & Therapist, she plays a hands-on role in helping visits run smoothly while keeping patients comfortable, informed, and at ease.
Her path into chiropractic care began with medical assistant training, where she quickly found that chiropractic clinics felt like the right fit, fast-paced, people-focused, and rooted in whole-body care.
After completing her education at PCI Health Training Center in 2017, Zaira continued working in busy chiropractic offices because seeing a high volume of patients keeps her sharp, motivated, and connected to the flow of care. She appreciates the natural, self-healing focus of chiropractic and the way the team works together to help patients feel better and move easier.
Outside the office, Zaira enjoys quiet downtime at home and recharging for the week ahead. Her calm presence and consistency make her a valued part of the team and a familiar, friendly face for patients.
