Dr. Ruben Munguia brings a unique combination of personal experience and professional expertise to Elite Chiropractic & Therapy Katy. His journey into chiropractic care began as a patient himself following a motor vehicle accident in his early twenties. After experiencing firsthand how a single chiropractic adjustment eliminated his headache pain, Dr. Munguia knew he had found his calling.

Leading our Katy practice with nearly two years of dedicated service, Maria brings extensive customer service experience and a passion for helping patients navigate their healthcare journey. Her background span’s multiple locations within our Elite Chiropractic & Therapy network, ensuring consistent, high-quality care coordination. Maria’s multilingual abilities and warm personality make her an invaluable resource for our diverse patient community. Claudia – Chiropractic Assistant
Celebrating her one-year anniversary with our practice, Claudia brings versatility and dedication to every role she fills. Whether assisting with front desk duties, supporting rehabilitation sessions, or helping with administrative tasks, her adaptability makes her an essential part of our team. Claudia’s international background – having lived in Venezuela, Miami, and Spain for seven years – brings a unique perspective and language skills that help us serve our multicultural patient base. When she’s not at work, you might find her pursuing her passion for mobile bartending or enjoying outdoor activities.
Melanie – Chiropractic Assistant
Joining our Katy location, Melanie brings both warmth and a genuine passion for patient care to our team. A proud Miami native who has called the Houston area home for the past seven years, she connects easily with our diverse patient base—her bilingual Spanish and English skills making a meaningful difference for patients who might otherwise struggle to communicate their needs.
On the floor and at the front desk, Melanie assists patients with therapy beds, electrical stimulation, and X-rays, handling it all with the care and attentiveness that keeps people coming back. She’s also currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine at HCC, driven by a personal mission to help others fighting cancer. When she’s not studying or caring for patients, you’ll likely find her at the gym or spending quality time with her miniature long-haired dachshund, Luca.
Kennedy – Rehabilitation Technician
